Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for your purchase from HM Custom Threads. We appreciate your business and want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please review our return policy below.

Returns

All return requests must be initiated within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. Returned items must be in new, unused condition and include all original packaging, tags, and labels, when applicable.

Return Process

Before returning any item, please contact us at hector@hmcustomthreads.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

After receiving your RMA number, securely package the item and include any requested return information before shipping it to:

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a shipping service that provides tracking.

Refunds & Exchanges

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will process your refund or exchange. Please allow 7–10 business days after receipt of your return for processing. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund or exchange has been completed.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of our error.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Digital patterns or downloadable products

  • Custom-made products, including custom rods, custom thread wraps, and personalized items

  • Opened or used products

  • Shipping charges

  • Gift cards (if applicable)

Product Color Disclaimer

Product images are intended to represent thread colors as accurately as possible. However, colors may appear differently depending on your monitor, mobile device, tablet, printer, or display settings. Slight variations between the color shown online and the actual product are not considered defects and are not grounds for return or exchange.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hector@hmcustomthreads.com.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos of the damaged or incorrect item and packaging, if applicable

We will work with you to promptly resolve the issue through a replacement, exchange, or refund when appropriate.
